At that time, studies showed that poverty in the region was not only due to material shortages but also to rural isolation, lack of cooperative organization, and the social invisibility of community demands. In response, associative and cooperative processes were promoted in rural communities through technical and financial assistance provided by intermediary institutions such as FUNDAPAZ.

The Foundation began working directly with families through visits by agronomists and community promoters. Over time, it expanded its reach to new areas, advising small producers, women, beekeepers, artisans, and Indigenous and rural organizations throughout northern Argentina.

We have adapted to the changes and challenges of the regional and international context

Today our work is carried out in Salta, Jujuy, Santiago del Estero, and Santa Fe, focusing on four programs

We remain committed to promoting sustainable rural development that improves the quality of life of indigenous and rural communities in northern Argentina,

Team

We are a multidisciplinary team with a permanent presence in the field for more than 50 years, committed to building a more just and supportive society.
