The situation is more critical in some areas of Salta

Lack of access reaches

(Source: 2022 National Census)

In these provinces, harsh climate conditions make access to water more difficult

I Love Extreme temperatures in some areas

exceed 48°C. Many localities

receive less than 550 mm of annual rainfall.

What is a Rainwater Harvesting System (RHS)? What is a Rainwater Harvesting System (RHS)? What is a Rainwater Harvesting System (RHS)?

gota

It is a simple and effective social technology that captures and stores rainwater.

gota

Water is collected from roofs or other surfaces connected to a cistern or reservoir and carried through gutters and pipes with filters that remove impurities.

gota

Once safely stored, water is extracted by families.

gota

We build the systems together with beneficiaries so they take ownership and learn to manage water.

gota

We implement a comprehensive strategy : beyond infrastructure, we strengthen local capacities through workshops and training in cistern construction, water management, and care.
